The bus was more than late so I decided to walk the 10 blocks home. No big deal, the weather's nice so I might as well profit from it.

What I observed:

The sidewalk on the east side of the street is nicely paved.

There is a lamp post that is colder than the others. Either that or the scarf is "in case of emergency". It's near W.28th avenue.

On sunny days I like to see what colours are out in the garden. So I found a super bright ladybug, a peony that smells like vanilla and a lone stalk of lady slippers.
That coyote looking dog is just a friend's dog that I took for a walk. She liked the purple flowers as much as the bees that were buzzing around.

I hit up downtown after my class this morning. Tons of volunteers cleaning up that mess from last night. I thanked as many as I ran into for repping the real Vancouver.
Keep your eyes peeled on Facebook, the rioters are getting posted and tagged. I sure hope they get jailed AND fined for damages and cleanup. Also, look out on Craigslist. I saw a dude trying to get rid of "a bunch of Canucks jerseys for some smokes". So yeah, report that stuff or you'll go to jail for buying stolen goods.

This is what I saw at night market a couple weeks ago. I would have posted sooner but My life is getting overruled by school :/

Anyway, have you ever seen these?! Bouquets of little Hello Kitties or bunnies or Mistis - Or really any little stuffed animal toys - all placed beautifully in fancy paper and lace and sold as a bouquet ($35 and up I think).
Expensive? Of course. Useless? Yes. Cute? Absolutely!
